bonjour, mes amis!

i just wanted to let you know how happy i am that the snow is finally melting.  it's really making my week.  it's like all the green grass has been hiding for so long, and now its finally back, and that just makes me really happy.  needless to say, i am not a fan of winterwonderlands.

and also, my sister and i decided that we are going to ditch some school around the easter break so that we can fly down to florida to go see the cousins.  if you has any ideas of how to convince my parents that this idea is A-OK, they could be very helpful :p

and finally, after almost a year and a half of trying to give away my postal service album, i just sold it on amazon.  some poor sucker is stuck with it now, but i don't care because now its not contaminating my other cd's with its crappiness anymore :O

oh yeah, and my early-february new year's resolution is to post here more...

yep, so that's about all that's exciting that's happened.  sorry, but midterm week is just a waste i think.  really, they should just consider skipping it and giving us a week off.  yup so that's about it, sorry for the crappo post about nothing

ok, so here's the deal: i'm giving in and finally doing one of those quizzy things that people on their xangas because i think that this one is kind of interesting.  you guess the songs and who their by, and then i'll cross them off.  EUREKA!!! it's so simple! and don't answer like a million at once... >:O

One - Once in a while, the zebras run to the spaceman and his gun, in the spider's web - LikeArollingStone19 (flaming lips - superhumans)

Two - The man in the crowd with the multi-coloured mirrors on his hobnail boots - stebooty (beatles - happiness is a wam gun)

Three - The monkeys stand for honesty, Giraffes are insincere, And the elephants are kindly but they’re dumb. Orangutans are skeptical of changes in their cages, and the zookeeper is very fond of rum. - stebooty (simon and garfunkel - at the zoo)

Four - We saw her once last fall. Our grandpa died in a hospital gown. She didn't seem to care. She smoked in her room and colored her hair.

Five - Hey, Andy did you hear about this one? Tell me, are you locked in the punch? Hey Andy are you goofing on Elvis? Hey, baby. Are we losing touch? - the_schnitt (REM - man on the moon)

Six - And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know, You realize that life goes fast, It's hard to make the good things last, You realize the sun doesn't go down, It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round - the_schnitt (flaming lips - do you realize??)

Seven - I thought I could organize freedom, how Scandinavian of me, you sussed it out, didn't you? - stebooty (bjork - hunter)

Eight - Why is it every time I think about you, Something that you have said or implied makes me doubt you? Then I look into your cynical eyes and I know it as if it never meant anything to me

Nine - I think I saw you in an ice-cream parlour, drinking milk shakes cold and long. Smiling and waving and looking so fine, don't think you knew you were in this song - LikeArollingStone19 (david bowie - five years)

Ten - This is the story of your gypsy uncle, you never knew cause he was dead, and how his face was carved an ripped with wrinkles, in the picture in your head

Eleven - And if a double-decker bus, crashes in to us, to die by your side, is such a heavenly way to die - stebooty (smiths - there is a light that never goes out)

Twelve - We are the Sherlock Holmes English-speaking Vernacular. God save Fu Manchu, Moriarty and Dracula. We are the Office Block Persecution Affinity. God save little shops, china cups, and virginity. We are the Skyscraper Condemnation Affiliates. God save Tudor houses, antique tables, and billiards. - LikeArollingStone19 (kinks - village green preservation society)

Thirteen - A killer in me is a killer in you, my love, I send this smile over to you

Fourteen - If you can hear a piano fall, you can hear me coming down the hall - shannikins (white stripes - dead leaves and the dirty ground)

Fifteen - Mes cousins jamais nes hantent les nuits de duralier. Rien n'arrete nos esprits. guns can't kill what soldiers can't see.

Sixteen - I ain’t been home to see my baby in ninety-nine and one half days. - stebooty (jimi hendrix - red house)

Seventeen - In starlit nights I saw you, so cruelly you kissed me, your lips a magic world. Your sky all hung with jewels, the killing moon, will come too soon

Eighteen - But the key to the city is in the sun that pins the branches to the sky - stebooty (david bowie - eight line poem)

Nineteen - There’s no time to lose, I heard her say. Catch your dreams before they slip away. Dying all the time. Lose your dreams. And you will lose your mind. Ain’t life unkind?

Twenty - And the magic bullet is the glowing mother ship, and the mother zaps you dead...
